Exploring the expansive world of Crimson Desert leads adventurers to numerous hidden secrets, among which the Dragon Stone Chamber stands out as one of the most rewarding environment puzzles. Hidden within the rugged landscape, this ancient site challenges players to combine keen observation with map reading skills to unlock its hidden treasures. Understanding where to find this cavern and how to decipher its mysterious mechanism ensures you can clear the objective efficiently without unnecessary backtrack.

Finding the Dragon Stone Chamber Location

The Dragon Stone Chamber is situated within the Hernand Highlands region, located directly south of Howling Hill and the Greymane Camp. As you explore south toward the area between Thinker's Meadow and Nas River, look for a large crater marked on your map. Gliding down into this massive pit reveals a stone door built right into the rock face.

To gain entry through the sealed entrance, equip your lantern and shine it on the figure near the door to trigger a vision. Using your Visione helmet allows you to view the memory, confirming the structure functions as an operable doorway. Afterward, simply push firmly against the stone slab for a few seconds until the entrance opens up.

Understanding the Mural Puzzle Mechanics

Once inside the chamber, players encounter a large dragon statue alongside three rotating discs set within a central pit. The primary challenge stems from a detailed mural on the chamber wall that acts as a topographical map. This map depicts the surrounding area, indicating three separate locations marked with red symbols where clue imagery is engraved on stone cliff faces.

Navigating to these three locations around Anvil Hill reveals the exact angles needed to align each disc. Because the mural in the chamber is rotated compared to your standard in-game compass, matching the land features requires careful mental orientation. Inspecting each stone wall outside provides the visual angles required for the sun, moon, and creature icons back in the basin.

Aligning the Rotating Discs and Claiming Rewards

Returning to the pit, interact with the three dials to rotate them into their precise orientations. The Sun and Moon dial needs to point directly upward, while the creature symbols require subtle slants to match the murals. The mechanism requires precise alignment, so rotate each wheel carefully until you hear an audible click confirming its correct placement.

When all three discs are positioned accurately, the passage beneath the main statue unlocks automatically. Inside, players are rewarded with valuable items, including an Abyss Artifact for skill progression and the Memories of Abundance key item. Using this item from your inventory grants vast regional knowledge and reveals hidden caves across the map.
